REVERSING MILLSTANDS

Quad has a range of Reversing stand designs and sizes for both bar, structural and universal mills. Quad has developed a system of manipulator side guides and bar turners that allow for the reversing stand process to be fully automated. For non-symmetrical shape rolling, the mill stand side shifts while the bar remains in the control of the bar turner rollers.

Rolls are changed out through the housing window using a sled system. Many options are available including off line guide setup and high lift roll gap adjustment capability
